Our Wellington team are looking for at least a full Class 1 Driver to join our team and is willing to be trained up so we can assist you with gaining further licences. This is a permanent and full-time basis role, working Monday to Friday and maybe the odd weekend.
Working as part of a close-knit team, your normal duties will include:
- Collect refuse & recycling from our valued customers
- Operate one of our collection vehicles and be trained across other industry specific trucks in accordance with safety guidelines
- Complete a daily check on your truck before driving each morning to ensure the safety of yourself & others
- Have guaranteed 40-50 hours per week
What we're looking for
- A clean Class 1 licence relevant to the role and if you're motivated to learn we can train you up and assist with gaining further licences
- Truck driving experience is preferred, however our Driver Trainers and supportive team can guide you
- Someone with an understanding and focus on health & safety - Safety is one of our core values and we want to ensure you, your colleagues and the general public are safe at all times
