Hume Pack-N-Cool Ltd is actively seeking experienced, dependable, and dedicated forklift drivers possessing a current OSH certificate to join our Coolstore and yard teams.
With a rich history as a family-founded and Grower Owned Packhouse and Coolstore Facility, we are on the verge of celebrating our 40th anniversary.
This position entails seasonal work aimed at supporting our Coolstore operations during the Main Pack Season.
As part of this role, you may find yourself maneuvering within the Coolstores where kiwifruit pallets are stored in racks before export, as well as loading and unloading trucks in the yard, handling bins.
To excel in this position, you should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to adapt to flexible work hours.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English communication.
Prior experience in the kiwifruit industry would be beneficial.
