Grada Recruitment is looking for an experienced, Pilling and drilling, rig operator to join a busy civil contractor operating across the Canterbury region to deliver a range of small and large-scale projects and join a highly engaged and successful team.
The Role
As a Rig Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, operating heavy machinery and operating within a close knit team you will be expected to deliver outstanding results. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of piling and Drilling rigs, contributing to the timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

The Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years experience within the piling sector working within a range of piling/drilling construction methodologies.
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Proficiency in operating various types of piling rigs, including hydraulic and mechanical models
- Ability to interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and/or certifications as required.
