Driver & Yard Operator
We are looking for a Yardperson/Driver who can provide exceptional customer service for our Manukau Branch. This role requires an all-rounder who will help out with all aspects of the business including loading/unloading customer & client vehicles from branch, using the forklift and customer deliveries.
Responsibilities include:
- Load and unload all trucks in accordance with the company Health & Safety requirements
- Ensure all customer orders are delivered to site safely on time as per customer expectations
- Assists in loading customer vehicles either by hand or with the aid of a forklift.
- Provide sales support for all branch customers.
- Stock and Inventory control
- Assisting with general yard work and inventory control when required
- Keep the forklift/truck in good working condition through maintenance and cleaning to maintain appearance standards.
What you will bring:
- Full Class 2 or 4 Licence & Forklift/F endorsement essential.
- Flexible, reliable and customer focused.
- Operates efficiently, effectively with passion and determination.
- Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks and deliver to expectations
- Practical understanding and experience of health and safety standards
- Ensure customers' orders are correct, and branch performance standards are met.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a strong customer relationship and that all customers' needs are met
