Qualifications
- Full Class 5 New Zealand Drivers License with experience safely operating the side-loader / swinglift trailers.
- Forklift Endorsement with Loading and Unloading Experience.
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement with Handling Experience.
- Basic Administration Skills.
Experience Needed
Whilst training can be provided for suitable candidates, it is preferred that you have at least 3-6 months experience operating a class 5 swing lift vehicle to provide freight services. 20' & 40' Container moves with 12m swing lift artic, dispatched by PBT. Typical routes, Wellington Port to PBT and other receivers in the Greater Wellington.
Skills Needed
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally with people from different backgrounds and roles.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (for example able to read and comprehend business rules and policies, able to calculate hours to ensure maximum driving hours and rest break requirements are upheld)
- Excellent customer service skills.
