LOVENS BUILDING SUPPLIES was founded over 20 years ago and is a growing range of products with branches in Auckland and Hamilton. We are a powerful company and our customers range from the DIY Kiwi to large multi-national contracting companies. We have many customers who have been with us since the beginning - that's because we deliver a superior customer service experience. Our products range from power tools to all the building supplies and our vision is to create a professional total solution building materials supplies for all construction practitioners.
Products typically shipped include timber, plywood, wall frames, roof trusses, as well as general building supplies for the trade. For this role, the ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Have a Mounted Crane Truck Certificate and be able to confidently and safely operate either a 10-wheel truck, an 8-wheel truck with a mounted crane with remote, or a 4-wheel truck with a mounted crane manually
- Have experience in the delivery of building materials, including wall frames and roof trusses
- A strong Health and Safety focus. Safe loading and unloading practices are a must
- Have a positive work ethic, a “can-do” attitude and efficiency-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
