We currently have a permanent, full-time position for a forkhoist operator in our yard. The role is 80 hours per fortnight and will see you working with our production team and truck drivers.
Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining yard to the standards of a food manufacturing facility
- Sort Pallets as per supplier standards, and coordinate returns.
- Ensure the yard is always ready for audit and inspection.
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Checking inward goods and complete appropriate paperwork
- Operating forklifts
To be successful for this role, you will:
- Must have a Forkhoist license including counterbalance or reach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great organisation and time management skills
- Previous Warehousing or a fast-space work environment experience is essential.
- Reliable transport to get to work
- Physically fit (able to lift and move up to 25kg)
- Strong Health & Safety focus
