You will be an individual who is energetic, motivated and has a passion to succeed in a Warehouse Operator role within the Mt Wellington warehouse. You will be responsible for:
- Picking cartons with RF scanner with 100% accuracy.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding customer delivery times.
- Accurate dispatch and manifesting of product to our freight forwarders.
- Efficient inwards goods receipting, devanning and put away of containerised stock.
- Safe and efficient operation of a reach fork hoist, loading and unloading trucks.
- Providing an excellent and professional level of customer service to customers collecting product.
- Assembly of chairs including full functional checks and packaging.
- Safe and efficient work practices within the warehouse.
You will require the following skills:
- Previous warehousing experience desired.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and must have a competent level of English.
- A can do attitude with a willingness to achieve, and must be flexible in regards to the business needs.
- A very strong work ethic, with an eye to attention to detail.
- A competent level of computer skills.
- A reach fork lift licence is preferable, however candidate must have a full clean drivers licence.
- Health and Safety conscious and be familiar with heavy lifting techniques and must be able to lift comfortably up to 25kgs.
- Customer service focused and can be prioritize and plan own working day.
- Can efficiently understand and follow instructions and processes as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
- Actively engage in team meetings and encouraged to always look for better working practices and continuous improvement.
