About HPAC:
HPAC is a leading provider of HVAC solutions, with a 38 year history of ensuring optimal climate control for our clients. Having a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a reliable and skilled General Hand to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing support for the Service and Maintenance of HVAC equipment, as well as handling general tasks to assist our team of technicians.
Responsibilities:
As a General Hand at HPAC, your responsibilities will include:
1. Working at heights, including in roof spaces for short durations to assist with HVAC maintenance.
2. Performing tasks on roofs related to HVAC systems.
3. Regular heavy lifting (upto 20kg's) and climbing up ladders
4. Demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Cultivating excellent customer relations skills during on-site visits.
6. Paying meticulous attention to detail, especially in keeping up with paperwork and documentation.
7. Ensuring punctuality for scheduled appointments and team meetings.
8. Holding a driver's license and demonstrating safe driving practices.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Previous experience in HVAC maintenance or a related field is preferred.
2. Ability to work comfortably at heights, including in roof spaces and on roofs.
3. Fit and able to perform various physical tasks
4. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer relations.
5. Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage paperwork efficiently.
6. Punctuality and reliability in meeting work commitments.
7. Possession of a driver's license.
