Rockit with us
We’re hiring for our 2024 post-harvest season which is underway.
Our forklift operators play a key role in helping Rockit to deliver the best quality product from Heretaunga to the world!
In this role you will:
· Operate our forklifts to locate bins of freshly picked fruit into our coolstores and in a way that protects the quality of our product for our customers
· Operate in house scanning and data capture equipment for accurate tracking of inventory on site
· Be flexible to provide support to other Rockit teams based on resource requirements, and
· Actively promote a positive health and safety culture.
You would be working a maximum of 65 hours per week between Monday-Saturday up until the end of our harvest period which will be through to April/May. There is the potential to move into general packhouse roles as this forklift work reduces.
This is a great way to earn good money in a short period of time.
How you Rockit
We’re keen to chat to people who:
· Love to operate a forklift, ours are state of the art electric hoists, a great opportunity to develop your skills on one of these!
· Appreciate the importance of accurate inventory recording
· Have the flexibility to work up to six days per week, and up to 65 hours per week during our post-harvest and packing season
· Are an experienced forklift operator (3 years +) with a current forklift license
· Are legally able to work in NZ, and
· Are reliable and love to work as part of an awesome team.
