ElectriNET, based in Gisborne is recruiting for a Drainlayer - Plumber.
Reporting to the Plumbing Manger, you will be responsible to:
- Provide field work for drainage maintenance and projects
- Ensure all maintenance works, faults and installation works are carried out in an efficient, effective and safe manner as requested or directed by the team supervisor and Manager - Plumbing
- Enthusiastically carry out all works in a professional and tradesman-like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted industry standards.
To be a successful candidate, we require the following qualifications and experience:
- New Zealand Certificate in Drainlaying
- Certifying drainlayers tickets is beneficial but not essential
- Plumbing registration an advantage
- Current unrestricted manual NZ Drivers Licence and applicable licence endorsement to drive and operate excavation equipment and class 4
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience associated with drainlaying
- Knowledge of drainlaying materials and methods
- Ability to interpret designs, plans and instructions
- Knowledge of NZ building and safety regulations, standards, codes of practice and relevant legislation
- Knowledge of the Building Code in relation to plumbing and drainlaying.
