About the Role
We are looking for an Inwards Goods person who has a passion for great customer service, to join the team in our Christchurch Wigram Branch. The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.
Some of the Key Responsibilities you will have are:
- Receipting in of all goods timely and accurately
- Restocking shelves with the receipted products
- Unloading goods using a forklift, process, and place goods into stock ready for sale and delivery
- Shipping goods as they are dispatched from the Branch
- Assist with picking customer orders
- Managing multiple demands on your time
About you and what we are looking for:
- Reliable and self-motivated
- A team player
- Physical fitness is key as heavy lifting is required
- A full and clean NZ driver’s licence is a must
- A valid forklift licence
- Have a friendly and positive attitude towards our customers and team members
- Will be able to manage multiple demands on your time
To be successful in this role you will have a solution-focused attitude, attention to detail and great time management. Our customers (internal and external) are at the forefront of everything we do therefore excellent customer service vital. Plumbing or Trade experience would be an advantage, but not necessary for this role.
