Class 5 Truck Driver (Casual)- Waiheke Island
We have an opportunity for a Class 5 Truck Driver to come and join our Tahi Road, Waiheke team on a casual basis. Due to early starts, this role requires a Waiheke resident.

Key accountabilities include:
- Auckland Metro and Waiheke Island pickups and deliveries
- Reversing onto vessels
- Performing pre-start checks on the vehicle
- A small amount of general vehicle maintenance (oil checks and the like)
- Navigating narrow roads and confined areas
- Vehicle loading and unloading
RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills, qualifications, experience and attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years Class 4/5 driving experience
- Dangerous Goods and forklift endorsement is advantageous
- Good knowledge of Waiheke Island
- Physically fit
- Logistics and/or warehousing experience
- Sound understanding of logbook regulations and requirements
- Clean record, good communication skills, presentable and a team player
- Ability to stay calm when under pressure
